Truda is an experienced and versatile voice artist, with a special warmth and empathy in all her work - from documentary to breezy retail and fluent Te Reo.
The mellow tones and superb timing owe much to Truda’s many years as singer and performer, including pioneering days with one of the great collectives - Ladies Sing The Blues - pub gigs, touring and blues and jazz festivals. Unique vocal training derived from NZ’s music scene. As Truda says, ‘There is an indefinable thing when everyone plays the same notes, the right notes, and the band is totally cooking, it’s the best feeling in the whole world.'
